Training 5

For today's drills you will need 1 stick, 1 ball, 4-5 cones/markers (again we are using plastic IKEA plates), and a goal (we are using chalk outline on a fence).

DRILLS

  1. Warm-up Yard Pulls: Count how many you can complete in 20 seconds. Repeat 5 times
  2. Warm-up Slalom: Set up a slalom course. Dribble through 5 times as quickly as you can while staying under control. Repeat 5 times
  3. To goal: Slalom: Slalom through a set of cones and shot on goal. Repeat 10 times
  4. To goal: Cone maze: Dribble through a messy cone maze and shot on goal. Repeat 10 times
  5. To goal: Lift: Dribble forward, lift the ball over a small obstacle and shot on goal. Repeat 10 times
  6. To goal: Yard pull & lift: Dribble forward, make a yard pull, dribble forward, lift over a small obstacle and shot on goal. Repeat 10 times
